Bryce & Mattalyn
Drenched in lush greenery and burgundy, Bryce and Matty count down their final moments as an engaged couple on 4-3-21 — fitting, right? Both of these two were overflowing with emotion on their wedding day. Bryce couldn't keep a straight face for more than about 3 seconds, and Matty's excitement was released in uncontained bursts of energy throughout the day. Visually, the dense foliage of this private estate looked so dreamy and deep on camera! We had the chance to capture their private vows back to back in the front arbor, as well as Matty's tender and emotional first look with her father and bridesmaids, which all looked so intimate on camera. To top it all off, this couple made their grand sparkler exit to an awaiting convertible, in which they headed to the airport — as their officiant was also their getaway pilot to a coastal elopement! This was also the first wedding in which I had a second cinematographer on board, which was absolutely essential in getting so many incredible angles of every moment. I couldn't have possibly gotten all of these shots working solo in the limited, dynamic timespan of a wedding, which is why a second cinematographer is now included in my wedding videography base package! We shot almost 1,000GB on this one alone, but it was totally worth it. Lastly, we got to work alongside some of our favorite photographers, so you know it's going to be good when the photo/video team is five strong! I'm always happy to reference and recommend photographers, DJ's, and coordinators who have a creative eye, talent, and trustworthy reputation. This combination of couple, venue, event, and vendors led to what was one of my all-time favorite weddings to document! Adrian & Marissa
Adrian and Marissa's love story unfolds at this detail-rich family ranch in the countryside of Sanger, California! Their ceremony took place in a modernized (yet still rustic) barn, which later converted into the dance floor. The bride-to-be even hid a letter in her groom's mailbox that she wrote to her future husband when she was little! Capturing the moment Adrian opened the wax seal and read her sacred note was intense, because I could tell he was holding back tears while reading it! This couple emphasized the importance of intricate details throughout their wedding, as well as their vision for the film, so I really tried to go above and beyond on their cinematic highlights!
